ASM Wins Another Large Project Working With DB Schenker
ASM is proud to announce that we have won another project with DB Schenker. This time we’re up in Manchester ensuring the security of one of their latest sites, before and during construction.
Before construction starts we’ve already been getting set up:

- We’re protecting the site during construction with Rapid Deploy CCTV Towers, with help from our partners at WCCTV Site Security Solutions.
- Our ARC and keyholding team will be adding an extra layer of protection through 24/7 monitoring.
The next stage will be kicking off our installation project which will include installing…
CCTV – A fully compliant GeoVision CCTV system which will incorporate an ANPR solution for staff car park entry, full perimeter protection with RVR cover utilising Optex detection and Netgenium IP PoE Horn Speaker. This will also integrate with our Sentinel system within our ARC.
Fire and Intruder Alarm – On top of taking over the existing, recently installed alarm systems, we’ll be adding to the advanced fire panel using Hochiki devices, and the Texecom intruder alarm with Smartcom solution ideal for remote diagnoses.
Access Control – to meet our customers wider requirements we’ll install a new Paxton Access Control system with 16 doors & 2 vehicle access gates. On top of this we’re creating a bespoke safety feature preventing the use of pedestrian gate access whilst the lorry entry is in use, an important area of safety for our client.
Gates & Barriers – Safety will be further increased through automating existing gates for the staff car park, and introducing intercoms throughout the site using IP Videx solutions.
Phew – that’s quite a lot of work we’ve got ahead of us but we’re excited to get started, and proud to have been chosen to undertake this large project!
